HowManySleeps ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app processes, how it is used, and your choices.

2. Data we process
- Event data you create, such as titles, dates, repeat settings, color and icon choices, and optional timetable links
- Shared content from iOS or iPadOS share sheet imports, such as a Widgit link and page title you explicitly share to the app
- App settings, such as filters, palette preferences and reminder settings
- Security settings, such as whether PIN protection is enabled
- Optional local biometric authentication result when you choose PIN reset or authentication flows
- Widget snapshot data stored in the app group container so widgets can display upcoming events
3. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app requests notification permission and schedules local notifications.
You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings or in the app’s settings.
4. iCloud and CloudKit sync
If iCloud sync is enabled for the app on your device, data may be synchronized using Apple CloudKit services.
Apple processes CloudKit data under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
5. Data sharing, selling and tracking
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the app codebase.
HowManySleeps does not track you across apps or websites for advertising purposes.
6. Data retention
Data remains until you modify or delete it in the app, or remove app or iCloud data through Apple settings.
You can erase all events from the in-app settings.
7. Security
- iOS Keychain for PIN storage
- iOS app sandboxing
- App Group container isolation for share extension and widget data handoff
- Apple-managed CloudKit security model
No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but reasonable safeguards are used.
8. Your choices
- Edit or delete events in the app
- Disable reminders
- Remove PIN protection
- Remove the app and associated local data
- Manage iCloud sync through Apple device settings

This policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page will be changed when updates are made.
